We were looking for a replacement for another Amana which had problems with its control panel after 6 years. This microwave fit perfectly into the same location. It looks good and works well.

Replaced non working control unit just over a year ago. Repair cost about $300. Now the control unit randomly begins and stops clicking on its own. Can manually stop clicking by opening door or turning light on. Frustrating.

Worked very well for 3 years and 3 months before it quit heating. All indications are that the magnetron croaked.
