Saitek - A-250

Granted, we're perhaps not at the wireless monitor stage here. But in the continued quest to remove the wires from the average PC setup, wireless speakers have been a long time coming. True, wireless headphones are ...

Expensive, not without issues and perhaps not flexible enough for some, the A-250 nonetheless realises the dream of proper wireless speakers with consummate ease. Not vital, perhaps, but certainly desirable.

Separate bass unit': No, THX certification': No, # of satellites: 1, Controls on satellites (specify channel): Powe...

Very good sound quality. Decent range. Playback controls work with most Windows music software. Accepts wireless or line input. Plug-and-play setup.

No Mac support. LCD viewing angle could be better.

Though the design of the Saitek A-250 wireless dual-speaker system sets it apart, ease of use, track-skip controls, and very good sound quality are what make it a favorite.

Saitek A-250 2.1 Wireless Speaker

Saitek's A-250 Wireless 2.1 Speaker is like a roadside accident. You know you should look away, but you can' stop staring.

And unlike other Bluetooth devices we’ve tested, you can’t direct Windows’ event sounds to your local speakers—everything gets streamed to the A-250. So move along, there’s nothing to see here.

Saitek A-250 Wireless 2.1 Speaker System

I am always happy when a product performs as advertised, and the A-250 Wireless 2.1 Speaker System live up to all the claims makes. They have an attractive appearance and produce better than average sound for a portable 2.1 speaker system. Battery...

» Wireless portability, » Ability to control music stream remotely, » Can connect to many music sources and be powered by A/C adaptor or battery power, » Better than average sound quality

» Can not control music stream when powering speakers thru A/C adaptor, » Possible dead spots within reception range

Saitek A-250 Wireless 2.1 Speaker System Review

PC-served music anywhere in your home from a rather sexy unit.

Generally sold for $129.00, and available for less with some searching, the A-250 is a pretty cool product. Sexy styling, high quality audio performance, easy setup, and good wireless performance make it a highly successful product. The portability...

Review: Saitek Audio A-250 Wireless Speakers

Being constrained by wires has always been an issue with speakers. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to roam around your home or go outside and not have to worry about where you are going to put the wires? Saitek, known best for PC gaming devices, has...

Very happy so far

Just for giving me freedom from the hassle of CD switching gives this product high marks in my book.

The speakers are not terrific, sounding a bit tinny with no options to adjust the treble or bass.

Fantastic!

Very easy to set up. Just plug it into an available USB slot, open Media Player or iTunes, and it works. Works with batteries or an AC adapter. Gives you contol of the music wherever the speakers are. Got it for $xx at Wxxxxart

Wish they sold one with bigger speakers

Easy set up, sound sucks though

I really like the wirless feature, I can control what my daughter listens to when she is sleeping in the her bedroom. I usually play classicals in a cd boom box, but I have to change the cd every 40-60 mins when the whole cd is finished. Now I can put...

Easy set up, just plug and play, no software required; Quite good wireless range. In a 750 squre feet and 2 walls separation, there is no problem at all of the wireless transmission, music runs seamlessly

Radio quality sound. FGS, I don't know what the other reviews and critics raved about "good quality" sound of this speaker. The high frequency is blurry, no transparency and clarity, bass is OK. But overall the sound quality is no better than my 10...

Flat out impressive

Simple installation.

There is some distortion at med-high volume levels when listening to "alternative" or "hard" rock with heavy electric guitars/bass.
