CoffeeGeek - La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II - Darren Rosenberg's Review

Perfect espresso is what I was looking for and wanted to limit the variables of reproducible shots.. The mini is able to be set for a particular temperature and adjusted quickly to enjoy the differing flavor profiles brought out by small temperature...

Ability to leave individual pump on all day while reserving steam pump for as needed ; No need to plumb unit in ; Temperature control

Not as stylish as E61 group machines (personal opinion)

CoffeeGeek - La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II - James Bowen's Review

After using an E-61 machine (Giotto) for 10 years, it was a long and hard decision to try another type of machine. The Spaz was the final contender to another E-61 purchase, but there were several form factor issues with the Spaz that prevented a...

Solid build ; Barista-friendly ; Steam is incredible ; Intelligent design

Could use a flush-mount plug. That's it

CoffeeGeek - La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II - Jeffrey Doolittle's Review

I own a Vivaldi II at home, but as a physician I was spending every third weekend at the hospital without my espresso. I took the jump and bought the Mini for use in my office and have been thrilled. I was concerned that the pump would be louder than...

No need for plumbing. Excellent consistant results

Drip tray feels lower quality than rest of the machine (minor point)

High-quality build, easy to use, and produces consistently excellent shots.

We upgraded from a Gaggia Classic that took us four months to master (which included a bit of hacking to dial down the pressure at the OPV valve) before we could pull consistently good shots. Even so, the Classic can be temperamental, and sink shots...

Very easy to use, and produces consistent, high-quality shots

Operationally, none. Aesthetically, it would look a little more attractive with stainless side panels and drip tray, rather than black plastic, but in fairness, the fit/finish is so good that it looks very nice

All and all, I found the dual boiler with great temp stability, mechanical preinfusion and a 2 year warranty at less than $2k to be the sweet spot for

The double box came very well package by Chris Coffee. They had tested the machine and Scaced it before shipping. I could tell this was done and that water was run thru the system. Chris coffee did this in short order and then repackaged it very...

Dual Boiler, frothing power, great temp control, 15amp or 20amp selective use, mechanical pre-infusion option

Upgradeable sides (as in the physical sides of the box that make up this machine) would be a plus (not that the current ones are a minus). I would like a stainless frame and a stainless drip tray at this price point (the E-61s are all stainless at...

Solid, reliable, consistent, very safe for infrequent and non-expert users

A very solid twin boiler machine. The option to run in "economy" mode such that it can be used with a standard household electrical outlet is very welcome. Generally very quiet when idling - it tops up the second boiler every couple of minutes but...

Highly consistent, can run on standard outlet, large warming area on top, once dosage / shot volume buttons have been setup it can be easily operated by almost anyone without worry

Drip tray fit could be improved, timer option is much appreciated but feels like a hack (you get a box on a dangling wire)

Given its price point, this is probably the best machine you can buy - if you have the money, don't hesitate to buy it

I spent a LOT of time on coffeegeek and HB reading prior to purchasing the mini Vivaldi. I wanted to make sure I got the right machine and wouldn't be looking to upgrade in a year or so. The most important thing to me in getting a new machine was...

Dual Boiler ; Volumetric dosing ; Great shot quality ; Easy to use and very forgiving for a novice

a bit on the noisy side ; wish the black plastic sides were SS, but I've grown used to it and it actually blends quite well with my granite countertop ; thought a timer should be included with purchase, but this is considered an optional accessory

CoffeeGeek - La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II - Keith B's Review

This was my very first ever espresso machine and I found it extremely easy to use, right out of the box. While I won't say that my first shot was all that great, it wasn't all that long until I was able to produce shots that put our local shops to shame.

Double boilers, which in the 20amp mode allows you to steam and brew at the same time ; A simple switch allows you to select either the 20 or 15amp mode, in the event you don't have a dedicated 20amp circuit ; Huge drip tray ; Easily removable large 3...

The Mini II is almost like having a fully auto machine but with all of its features; it puts those machines to shame.

If you have the money, no better way to spend it. Easy, forgiving and makes one of the best espresso's in the entire state of GA.

Programmable temperature and time makes consistent shots easy. Plenty of units out their that are proven reliable too. Even has its own forum! Chris' carries and recommends this unit for a reason. Well built, easy to use double boiler machine. ...

Easy to use, outstanding home unit

Expensive and a little loud
