this is a nice little item for use. i would recommend the larger one (V3). I got the V2 which is nice for one or two cups, uses #1 cones.

 

I buy a lot of discretionary coffee stuff to impress other male humans. this is much more impressive for females, since it is something that makes a person "feel special" when served that way. I know that one coffee shop (Everyday Joe's in Ft Collins...

Very reliable coffee extraction, amazing aesthetic, obviously an engineering marvel, almost idiot proof (see below)

I may have paid a bit much for it, as I look at prices, but this is not a bad point, maybe. Just shop around. Hario as of early Jan '10 has its own site hariousa.com which is quite reasonable ; I think that the Sweet Maria's vpot is about as good,...

Don't drink alone. But when you must, the Hario V60 is the best company you can keep.

 

First impressions: Solid. Weighs 9.25 ounces. Extremely clean - lines are well finished. No rough edges. Great feel to it. Looks sharp sitting on the shelf. Interior of dripper has raised, curved ridges (fluting). My other ceramic pourover...

Simple. Distinct lines. Stylish. Great feel to it. Exceptionally clean, full-bodied cup of coffee when I am sipping alone (12 oz capacity). Fits every coffee cup in my cupboard. Breeze to clean up

Unable to see fluid level due to base on which the unit rests over the cup (NB: My Bee House porcelain has open areas in base to view rising fluid)
