Much better machines are available for this price.

This machine was a real disappointment. After searching for a machine with a thermal carafe for months, I jumped at the opportunity to buy this one. Since that time, a number of significantly better machines have come to market.

It has a decent sized Thermal carafe. The Capresso Elegance is makes passable coffee if you handle it carefully

The quality of this machine is sub-par; especially for the $120 purchase price. The brewing temperature is very inconsistent. Black shiny plastic is not aesthetically pleasing

Great Coffee

Drip machines just pour hot water over coffee grinds. If you don't like the way it comes out, adjust your grind size and/or dosage. Not all drip machines are going to make coffee well with the same grind. After a couple of pots, I was able to figure...

Looks good, works good

Need to make at least 6 cups or coffee tastes 'off

Good machine but needs TLC. Not the quality I expected for $120

Makes a wonderful cup of coffee, but not made as well as it could be for the expensive price. Hard to clean. After only a year of use, it needs replacement, and I would not buy this one again. Sturdier equipment is available for the $120 price tag.

8 cup thermal carafe ; Water filtration system is good

A bit too fragile. I am getting ready to replace after just a year of use

Not recommended

Design seems excellent, but manufacturing quality leaves much to be desired. Used Braun and Krups machines until Capresso released the direct-to-therm machine. Therm leaked in 1st month of use. Company would not replace, though did sell replacement...

Handsome looks; direct-to-therm brewing works well. Does heat water to correct temperature for full bean flavor release

Major problem with carafe and auto-stop brewing

Handle it gently & it?ll give you a great cup

Excellent taste and perfect temp. Even though I expected better durability after paying $100+ I?m loyal to this coffee maker, because the coffee really does taste great. BUT if you?re a door-slammer, then this maker isn?t for you. It won?t make it!

Coffee tastes great and is kept at the perfect temperature via thermal carafe. No burnt coffee taste for me

Flimsy filter mechanism keeps breaking! Replaced it several times and experienced same problems
