CoffeeGeek - Brasilia Club - Jason Mickin's Review

Brass boiler ; Commercial PF (accepts most 58mm baskets) ; Well built ; Good size water resevoir (1.5 litres I think) ; Making a cup of espresso is easy and quick ; 3-way solenoid valve ; Steams milk very fast

Drip tray isn't very deep, holes in grate are too small (cheap overall) ; My steam valve has 2 holes, not good for producing microfoam (though it steams very fast) ; You have to prime boiler (could be an issue if you forget) ; Not easy to remove...

CoffeeGeek - Brasilia Club - Jason Wilson's Review

My wife picked up the "Lady" which is the same as the "Club" at our local Thrift shop for $35 cdn not knowing if it was a good unit. There was a sticker on the unit from the original store it was purchased from. We took it to them to have it serviced,...

Awesome steam production 0 to 160 in 15 sec ; Espresso temp 150 consistently ; Easy to use, simple manual operation

Finish on the unit peels off due to water damage ; Not the nicest looking unit like other stainless steel units

CoffeeGeek - Brasilia Club - Troy Silverskin's Review

Firstly, I was looking for a small domestic machine that could make me an espresso drink comparable to that of my local cafe in my own home.

Commercial group and portafilter, solid overall construction, powerful steam producer, brass boiler, pressure release valve, unique styling, pod compatible ; Makes awesome espresso comparable with commercial machines

Small drip tray, relatively small water resovoir, mine came fitted with a paranello? steam tip

This unit is on every day all day ... I have never seen a machine that can compare to the quality and durability of this "semi-professionl" home unit. Holding the portafilter in your hands tells you right off the bat that this is a quality product. I...

I have had this unit for 10 + years and have never had a problem with it other than descaling and a bad heater switched (repaired in 2 days). Solid Metal construction, professional group and portafilter. Excellent steam (4 cups in a single heating)

I have none

CoffeeGeek - Brasilia Club - Duncan Manderson's Review

I have been trialing an e61 Rocket and although it has many more features and safety functions, it cannot steam the milk as well as the Brazilia Club. I have owned my Club for about 9 years and have never seen a domestic machine that can beat it.

Full control over the machine (no auto functions) ; Good strong pump to draw the water thru ; Excellent steam function (a manual button is held down and uses the main boiler to generate as much steam with as much pressure as you need). You can steam...

Water tank could be large ; Risk of blowing the element as it allows you to overheat and dry out the boiler ; No reverse mode (for cleaning) ; Small drip tray
