Happy With It

Battery life is about 80 minutes with video on the highest setting. All in all I am satisfied with the purchase price for what you get.

Great all around camera for an active person on the go. Still shots in the 3680 x 2760 mode are great looking. Video modes are perfect for internet use (youtube) but not so much for home use. Very portable. Battery charges fully in less than 90 minutes...

Only comes with 18mb internal memory, so be sure to pick up a 4 gig SD card when you buy ; Camera actually isn't Yellow, but Gold. And what you cant tell from the picture is that only one side is gold, the other side is pearl white. The two colors...

Great camera, but I'd love even longer battery life

I'm pleased with the video quality, it looks great at the highest quality setting. I use the camera (mounted on a kayak front deck) to record surf sessions, and there are 2 features that I'd really like to see added for this mode of operation.

Fast startup. Great video, great compression

May not be as waterproof as I need. LCD display is more than I need

Well Worth The Investment!

I own a Porsche Boxster and absolutely love it. But as the father of three small children, I could not imagine it being our only car, and, as video cameras go, I feel the exact same way about the Sanyo E1. Is it the best video camera you'll ever own?...

Great underwater footage, small and convenient, surprisingly nice stills

Bad in low light, small zoom, painfully slow shutter lag, slightly unintuitive buttons

Extremely Cool Video Camera for Travelers

The E1 is a great little camera for travelers. It is compact, durable ( no moving parts ) weather, and waterproof and very easy to use. The video quality is good and it is extremely easy to upload video to my Macbook from the camera.
