It is very hard to find out what type of fragmenting of the disc that you need. As yet, from reading the instruction manual it is unclear and I have as yet bee n unable to play any of the discs back on my DVD player.

Image quality is excellent.

It cannot be replayed via the tv like the video tape could. The instructions were not very clear at all, it took until now (over 8 weeks) to be able to use it properly. If I were to purchase another camcorder, it would be one that took tapes not discs.
