If you're looking for an ultra-compact camcorder at a decent price, Panasonic's SDR-S7EB-K could be ideal.
You can't expect a camcorder as tiny as the SDR-S7 to offer much for the more serious videomaker, and its lack of high definition ability will give it a limited shelf life. But for just over £200, the SDR-S7 packs real camcorder abilities into the kind...

At last, a fully featured camcorder you really can fit in your pocket
It's super-small ; Good controls ; The price is right
No HD ; No SD card in box ; gives other camcorders obesity complexes
Decent image quality and grownup configuration options make this a real camcorder, yet it's light and small enough to be carried wherever you go.

Simple ; Compact ; Robust ; Uses SD cards ; Easy to use
Screen attracts dust and fingerprints ; Feels a bit cheap ; No conventional viewfinder

Pintsized camcorder that punches above its weight
Affordable price, super-small design, convenience of SD/SDHC format
Occasional image issues, design may prove awkward for some users
The Panasonic SDR-S7 is clearly not for everyone, but if you're looking for a cheap, user-friendly and highly portable camera, this is one of the better buys on the market. (It looks ferociously cute, too.)
