Can Panasonic maintain its position as our favourite enthusiast camcorder manufacturer?
Comprehensive manual settings and enthusiast features ; Great image quality in most conditions ; Option for 3D shooting
No 24Mbits/sec AVCHD mode
Panasonic’s HDC-TM900 offers no revolutionary new features, now that 3D shooting has already started its journey to ubiquity. But like its predecessors it blends excellent enthusiast features, headlined by the lens ring, with supreme image quality....

Businesses can use video for product demonstrations, motivational messages from the CEO, employee training, and communication of corporate messaging―all in entertaining or riveting ways previously unimagined. A professional video is a sure-fire way to...
The HDC-TM900 is Panasonic’s best Full-HD 3MOS camcorder to date. With image quality that rivals professional video equipment and further advancements on last year’s HDC-TM700, the HDC-TM900 not only has that added wow-factor and future-proofing with...

The Panasonic HDC-TM900 is the successor to the lauded HDC-TM700, our pick for Camcorder of the Year in 2010. The TM900 offers the same fantastic video performance as its predecessor, particularly with its widely-praised 1080/60p mode, but Panasonic...

If you don't want to spend more for the top-rated Canon Vixia HF G10 (*Est. $1,400), experts say the Panasonic HDC-TM900 is a fine alternative. The Panasonic can't quite match the Canon's stunning sensitivity in dim light, but the Panasonic does one...
Outstanding 60p HD video, 3D capable (with optional lens), full manual controls
White balance problems in one test, some owners complain of fan noise in recordings

Great performance, but if you don't want 3D, little to recommend it over the TM700
Excellent color and noise results; Great motion and sharpness in 60p; Plenty of manual and auto controls
60i performance falls off a bit
The HDC-TM900 (MSRP $1099) is a great camcorder, that much is clear. It captured excellent video in a variety of record modes, and its performance recording 1080/60p HD video was as good as it gets. It has a ton of controls, a solid body design, and...

Consumer review (reevoo.com)
it has a fantastic picture but also has a great range of settings, from manual overrides to stop frame photography.
I could not transfer HD pictures from the cameras to my MAC and had to download software from Borosoft (£22).
