Canon LEGRIA HF R17

Never used a camcorder before so cannot compare it with other camcorders.This one is very easy to use and the results so far have been very good.

So simple to set up and use. Every thing you need to start is in the box. All you need to decide is do you want to record to a large memory card or several smaller ones as time goes on. you could of course use the bilt in hard drive and download...

Very light, compact and easy to use.

Image quality could be better but for the price I suppose I shouldn't complain.

Light weight - easy to use (good if you have largish fingers as it's not touch screen.

Can only charge up on camera - extra charge for the seperate battery charger. No connection for iLink (Which my PVR accepts). No neck strap or case.These aren't major problems but are worth noting. Also a second battery is a must. Also no view finder,...
