Canon's budget line SD camcorder won't wow anyone with high quality footage, but it won't break the bank either.

Inexpensive ; Simple camera operation ; 16GB on-board

SD shooting only ; Requires AC power for any PC transfer

There's no doubt that if you can pick up a decent HD capable model you'll have higher quality footage to treasure for years to come, but if your wants and budget tend more towards the modest, the FS37 presents an acceptable enough standard-definition...

The camera is light and easy to use and the battery life is so far good.

The software that ships with the the camera is of a very poor quality and not very versatile. The instructions are useless, difficult to understand and the software does not always function the way it says it does.
