Inexpensive, light, easy to use, comfortable to hold. Plenty of HDD space. Presuming users have a computer, the files can easily be backed up and the files removed from the internal HDD for reuse.

Has 'speckes' when move quickly either to follow quick motion or when walking or scanning an area/room.

compact,laser scroll menus make it so easy to set up and use,takes good still images and the extra memory facility via the micro sdhc slot is great.

spare battery a bit expensive

Straightforward to use, different folders to save different events which makes it easier to find images. We bought it for the arrival of our new baby and there is even a folder for that! Great images and Hard drive which makes it so much less fuss.

If anyone is planning to buy a handycam then this is the best and cheap option for you guys.

Fantastic portable little camera. Battery power seems to last for ages. Very easy to use with many different recording rates. Easy to transfer footage.

A nice compact little camera,light and easy to use.The hard drive means you don't have to carry tapes around.

I can't really think of anything bad to say about it.

This is my first ever camcorder (welcome to the 21st century I hear you say!) and I would definately recommend it. It is light. easy to use and will fit in to a coat pocket. You can plug it straight into the TV for play back or download to PC for editing.

Extras are a little costly.
