Good for the price

You can't compare this camera to a model costing $400 or more, in quality or features, but in it's price range it works well. For $229 it would have been overpriced, but for $89 it's a good deal if you need 1 or more low cost near HD quality cameras....

Variable speed zoom Keeps focus while zooming Image stabilization make a noticeable improvement 40x optical zoom Sound is fairly sensitive Good in low light even with small sensor .MTS files play fine on WMP and open in Sony Vegas Pro

Slightly misleading, it says it records in full 1080 resolution but has a 1.5MP sensor, the sensor can only capture around 1440x900 then the image is upscaled to 1920x1080. A true 1080HD camera should have a minimum of 2.1MP, many have 3 to 5MP. Short...

Great buy

First camcorder, own several EOS Canon Cams, decided to try this because of the price, would recommend to anyone and I'd do it again.

micro size, fits in the palm of my hand, excellent picture and audio, I was really impressed with the quality, should have purchased two. Pleased with this cam, esp the refurb price, you can't go wrong if you know something about cams.

Software wasn't easy but after a few try's using the cams upload program loaded on W8. Didn't really need the program, just a DLL to recognize the drive which it does. Movies were buried in three different trees to see.

JVC Camcorder

I purchased another brand last year at the regular price which was equal to the original price on this JVC. It works but it was refurbished as well & paying that much seemed okay at the time but exactly 12 months later, this camcorder came out in...

Great price, easy to use, dependable & is easy to work with windows 7.

Should have all the cables with the unit.
