Hitachi DZ-GX3100A review: Hitachi DZ-GX3100A

Hitachi DZ-GX3100A

Decent low-light video quality; impressive battery life; in-camera editing.

Hidden touch-sensitive controls; low-res stills.

If you're looking for an inexpensive DVD camcorder and you don't care about stills, Hitachi's DZ-GX3100A is worth a look.

Easy to use. I have had fun playing with it - it seems idiot proof. Good results even allowing for dark background outside. Optical zoom excellent

Handbook could be more user friendly. What about a simplified need to know sheet?
