The Hitachi DZ-MV780E is a slender soul with a 1.3megapixel sensor and can be connected to your telly for home movies

Hitachi DZMV780A
Compact; in-camera editing with DVD-RAM; lightweight; relatively inexpensive.
DVD-RAM not supported by most set-top DVD players; touch-sensitive buttons difficult to use; mediocre video and still-photo quality; lame battery life.
The Hitachi DZMV780A is a budget DVD camcorder that visibly compromises on video quality.

This easy-to-use camcorder provides good to very good quality in normal light. Disc-compatibility issues hold it back, though.
Good video quality for a miniDVD camcorder. Saves still images on SD media card. Easy to use.
MiniDVD-RAM format not compatible with all DVD hardware. Color is sometimes oversaturated. Pricey.

The Hitachi DZ-MV780 is the second best DVD camcorder Hitachi is offering this year. Combining performance and affordability, it ranked as one of our favorite DVD cams in 2005. That's not saying much, as DVD cams typically leave out the manual controls...

Vey easy to pick up and start basic with further functionality that can be picked up in time. No fault with regard to supplier/purchase I would and have recommended site to friends.
None really although spare battery would come in use due to the short battery life
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Very small, and fits in the palm of the hand perfectly. The image quality is fantastic, I have had several forms of camcorder through the years from VHS-C to HI-8 to Mini DV, however the DVD Hitachi image is leagues ahead, and the plus point of being...
