Panasonic HDC-TM10 review

Meet the world's lightest Full HD AVCHD camcorder

It weighs next to nothing ; Dual storage ; Intelligent Auto is great

Slightly fragile feel

Compact, powerful and versatile, the Panasonic HDC-TM10 looks as good in your hand as it does on the spec-sheet. And considering the price tag, it's a no-brainer buy for anyone who's looking for an easy-to-use camcorder that can record full HD video

Panasonic HDC-TM10 review

It wasn't long ago that hi-def camcorders were bazooka-sized beasts, but the HDC-TM10 – the world's lightest Full HD camcorder – shows just how far they've come. It's a lot like Panasonic's own HD-SD10, but rather than relying on SD/SDHC cards it packs...

Without seeking to labour the point, but it’s important to consider the HDC-TM10, and its sister product the HDC-SD10, in the context of the user for whom it’s intended. With that in mind, it’s surprisingly small and lightweight yet it hides a huge...

Panasonic HDC-TM10 review

As cute as it is clever, this kind of power and performance has no right coming in a package so small

Tiny dimensions, unfussy dual-format system, excellent results

Annoying file format, hard-to-press buttons

Panasonic HDC-TM10 Camcorder Review

The HDC-TM10 ($599 MSRP), along with the HDC-SD10, represent the newest additions to Panasonic's consumer HD camcorder line. The camcorders are essentially more compact, repackaged versions of Panasonic's previous mid-range HD camcorders (the HDC-TM20,...

The Panasonic HDC-TM10 is a decent camcorder for what you pay for, but there are better mid-range models out there. Its sub-$600 price tag is attractive, as is the camcorder's wide range of features and manual controls. It also performed decently in...

Essentially a more compact, repackaged version of Panasonic's previous mid-range model

Low noise; Smooth motion

Awful low light performance; Poor sharpness

Touch screen control a little fiddly but workable.

Panasonic HDC-TM10

Quick to start up,once i sorted out how to record to the SD card all was fine.

Battery life was a bit dissapointing, will need to buy a spare. Not had much of a play with the software but it doesn't look the best or easiest to use

Panasonic HDC-TM10

Small, compact and light with easy to use touch screen. Image quality is great and image stabilisation works very well too. Easily fits in my jacket pocket and is quickly up and running ready to take pictures or video. Fantastic optical zoom up to 16x...

The Editing Software that comes with it is rubbish, hardly any features to it whatsoever, can't even add music to the video. So be prepared to purchase a decent HD editor, which there aren't many. If you have selected to record to the sd card it will...
