Garmin Dash Cam 35

The Dash Cam 35 is the new flagship dashboard camera from Garmin. This is a market that's becoming increasingly crowded of late, but with a Garmin device you're at least getting a brand that has a lengthy history of products aimed at easing automotive...

Solid and reliable performance ; Safety camera warnings can be added ; GPS position recording alongside video

Mounting a bit too permanent ; Fewer additional safety features than some competitors ; Captured car power adapter cable

The Garmin Dash Cam 35 may not be brimming with extra features, but it provides solid, reliable dashboard camera performance.

Garmin Dash Cam 35 review

  (Rating Hidden)

Garmin has produced a number of Best Buy sat navs, but we've been less than impressed by the Garmin dash cams we've tested. The Garmin Dash Cam 35 has some interesting features, including GPS, a G-force sensor and forward-collision warning, but is it...

Garmin Dash Cam 35 Review

So easy to setup and very clever too. A properly simple camera which acts as your witness when things go wrong.

You can get the dash cam for £159.99 from Garmin and, I have to admit, I was properly impressed with this camera. It was so simple to setup, easy to navigate and easy to use. A proper click and forget thing. The footage was impressive, the proximity...

Garmin Dash Cam 35

Garmin's Dash Cam 35 offers something unique – the ability to record the exact GPS location. All footage recorded includes a time-stamp, speed travelled and GPS location at the bottom, providing what could be valuable information in case of an incident...

Mount and unit very compact, added GPS info provided,

Can only work through provided power supply making it difficult to share cigarette lighter, added speed camera warning hit and miss

Dash cam review: The Garmin Dash Cam 35 is a little bigger and better for the price

Garmin's Dash Cam 35 offers great day and night video in a form factor that's neither too small nor too big. It's a little higher-priced than the competition, though.

Affordable GPS-enabled camera ; Very good daytime and nighttime video

Buttons are a bit stiff

Good little dashcam

Picture quality looks good. No replay on camera - need to download image files. Software from Garmin seems dodgy; lost a 'saved video' that I was testing with. I shall move the SD card, next time, to the PC. Let's hope I never need it.

Is it 1080

I recently purchased this camera and I now wish i went for the nextbase 412GW, roughly £100.00 and cheaper than this. However, I thought I would go with a known brand and expecting decent quality after reading some reviews. Unfortunately it is not as...
