DCR-SR58

If you buy this camera make sure you buy a monopod or mini tripod with it, when zoomed filming it's nearly impossible to hold still and get a decent shot. It has steady shot but it makes little difference. Very short life in this home.

Large clear LCD,Easy to use

Poor image quality,No external mic input,No image stabilization,Poor still image

Very poor quality when white light present ; For example when doing a video of a band ; with white disco lights

Best purchase Sony DCRSR58ES

This camcorder is fantastic. It has so many lastest features compared to the old camcorders. Its small, practical, easy to use, 2 in 1 you can record movie aswell as take photos. No films or discs needed as it has 80gb hard drive + optional memory...
