In the pro world of videography it's hard to take anything this small too seriously. However, the XA10 is larger than life in terms of features, usability, and quality imaging.

Detachable handle, XLR audio inputs and mic mount, Small form makes it extremely portable

Nice compact format HD camcorder with xlr audio inputs which at this price seems to be a unique feature but which was essential for our purposes

Battery life with the standard supplied battery is a little poor but that said I believe a larger pack can be fitted which would address the issue.

Amazing quality and amazingly easy to use! Well worth the money. The option of using the XLR mics and channels is really unique. It's so light and small but the quality is seriously good. Well worth it if you want broadcasting quality footage but want...

Really wish a record button was available on the flip out screen as there is one by the battery and the on the top of the handle, but because most the controls are on the screen, a quick record button would have been very beneficial. Also the touch...

Superb picture quality. Smooth zoom.

Files wont upload in a useable way with supplied software. To be fair I'm not sure if this is a Canon issue or a Adbe issue or whichever ... Cant take a photo except via the touch screen.
