Canon DC301

The Canon DC301 is a DVD camcorder that features a 36x advanced zoom, straight to DVD recording, instant shooting with the QuickStart button and more flexibility in navigation with the joystick. It can also store up to 108 minutes on an 8 cm dual layer...

Be honest, do any of your mates really look better in High Definition? Canon’s old-school DVD spinner may be about as cutting edge as a kaleidoscope but it does the job – decent quality movies in minutes – at a price that’s positively old-fashioned....

When we had eventually got used to the camera it was very good and easy to use and the photography option means you only need to take one item out with you Downloadable manual from website

Manual difficult to read and understand, the downloaded manual made much more sense. If anything it is a bit lightweight but others may view this as an advantage

We bought this for my son's 13th birthday and he loved it straightaway. It's easy to use and the quality is fantastic. A great buy for any member of the family.

LIGHT TO HOLD, SMALL ENOUGH TO TAKE ON HOLIDAY. COMES WITH ALL ADAPTERS FOR BOTH HERE AND ABROAD.

NOT LONG ENOUGH BATTERY LIFE.

Ease of use as a "point and shoot device", quality of image.

The disc initialisation and finalisation is not as intuitive as I would like. Also, because the finalisation process needs the mains power supply, it's necessary to always take it with you (on holiday for example).
