Best Blu-ray player up to £150, Awards 2014. Top-notch performance and good features too: this Sony is a top budget buy
Excellent image quality Crisp, detailed and defined Agile, punchy sound
Build quality mirrors price, no display
Overall, this is a cracking Blu-ray player for the money. its performance is top-notch, and its list of features ranks highly among its peers. At this price, the Sony BDP-S5200 is hard to beat. MORE: Awards 2014 - all the winners

Pulls out nearly all the stops with super W-iFi, screen mirroring and plenty of apps
WiFi ; 2D and 3D Blu-ray ; Key streaming apps ; USB playback ; TV SideView app
Fiddly screen mirroring ; Opera TV Apps Store ; PS3-era user interface

Perfect 2D/3D Blu-ray playback, Great scaling of DVDs, Lots of VoD apps, SideView app is great
Build quality could be better, A little noisier than some, Ditch the XMB menu system

Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Excellent bluray player. Has wonderful interface.
Occasionally there is 2 seconds of non-audio, but it only seemed to happen in the first few weeks of use.
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Very easy to set up, including connecting to wireless router.
Nice and small but top of box is flimsy so could bend in easily.
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Its easy to use.
Your people fitted it wrong, wired the HDMI cable wrong TV end into the Blu-ray once we changed it- its brilliant.
