Sharp BD-HP35U

An odd video quirk and a dated interface prevent the Sharp BD-HP35U 3D-enabled Blu-ray player from earning our recommendation.

Wi-Fi-enabled (with bundled dongle). Attractive design. Functional remote.

Has issues with some video forms. Slow to load BD-Live discs. Unattractive menu system. Limited connectivity.

Excellent for the money

Very fast set-up if you skip trying to connect to the internet with the included wifi dongle (mine would only work intermittently). The remote is very functional, decent range. The set-up menu is somewhat dated looking, not as easy to skip over steps...

Fairly easy set up

Wifi dongle is hit or miss

Very nice player

I love it, had an old DVD player that didn't play RW disc's so this is great! I wasn't able to get wifi to work, BUT I didn't read the directions, just messed around for 5 minutes on screen so I'm sure I'm just missing a step that the directions should...

Great picture, lots of features and 3D capable for my new tv (coming this fall)

Good BD Player

Refurbished unit came with a remote, CD operation manual, and wireless network adapter USB. Must use external 2gb thumb drive USB. Newegg deal offers a free HDMI cable 6ft and $10 rebate. Value packed deal. I am very satisfied.

Clean design, okay menu, very good blu-ray player

I really want to believe....

Maybe these actually ARE re-furbished and they fixed the problems? Usually re-furb means they cleaned it up and put it in a new box. I wish there were more reviews on it here. Anyone else buy one lately???

So cheap for the features

The reviews of this item on the Sharp site are bad (only 3 though)

I LOVE THIS

I got this on a deal, and I do not regret my purchase, it does what its suppose to, and who cares if its a little slow, considering how much the pros are, its perfect for what I use it for. And I FINALLY have a blue ray player.

Streams Netflix, wifi ready, great picture
