Clean, detailed, and smooth picture ; Natural colour balance ; Good design and smooth operation ; Same picture specs as range-topping player

Panasonic release the UB700, it's a cheaper version of their flagship UB900 but does it lose anything important other than £200?

Perfect playback ; Excellent 4K upscaling ; Twin HDMI outputs ; Extensive features ; Attractive design ; Decent build quality

Good value

Limited use so far, but it seems to do what it says on the box. Discc handling is quite fast and picture is excellent. We don't have a 4K TV yet so ultimate visuals are to come. Set up was straight forward.
