The Panasonic DMP-BDT330 goes beyond Full HD 3D, with 4K upscaling and apps
Vibtrant color and detail ; Flashy menu system ; SD card slot for photos
Convoluted GUI ; Netflix button replace ; USB ports won't read HDD

Panasonic crams 4K-upscaling and other goodies into its Blu-ray player. But is the DMP-BDT330 worth a tidy price? Why yes, yes it is
Excellent picture and sound ; Nice design ; Plenty of connections ; 4K upscaling
Could do with more smart content ; Menu system could be simpler
Interface and smart content could do with a bit of work, but for picture and sound this is a cracking Blu-ray disc-spinner

The DMP-BDT330 continues Panasonic's tradition of providing the best Australian DVD/Blu-ray performance from the big brands, while adding interesting network features.
Blu-ray and DVD picture performance as good as it gets ; Two HDMI outputs for support of older equipment ; Excellent USB audio handling ; Respectable start-up speeds
Silly defaults on picture and audio output ; Lacks computer keyboard interface available with some other brands ; Physical design doesn't lend itself to USB usage
When it comes down to it, all of that extra stuff is nice, but the main job of a Blu-ray player is to deliver high-quality video from DVDs and Blu-ray discs. There are very few players that can do as good a job on Australian discs as the Panasonic...
