Consumer review (newegg.com)

Should've bought a Sony player

Luckily I bought the 1 year service net plan with it so when the 1 year mark hits, I should be good to get a replacement.

Did what I wanted it to - play Netflix and Blurays

Worked for about 4 months and crashed. Unit turns on but gets stuck on the LG logo screen. Won't go to the home screen or autoplay any disc ; ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT** I'm usually pet peeve'n about manufacturer warranty but I missed the fine print...

Disappointed...

Bought a lot from Newegg and finally got a $50.00 piece of junk.

Small size, decent performance for a while

Wi-Fi stopped working

none

Bought 2 of these. One made a grinding noise when trying to play a disc. The other would freeze up when playing a disc. Neither player would play my .mkv movie files like its supposed to

trendnet

Intuitive remote control and easy appliance to use. Remote works well with master volume. no switching remote for basic functions(vISIO LCD TV)

Wow! Price: fantastic, over all performance avg. to good. Remote is avg to good. menus are fast! Best of all, this LG appliance plays your movies! 5 eggs for this. I've tried most stand-alone media players such as WD, Netgear, roku, boxee, myth and...

power supply could be a problem, non so far though

Works Great!

So far, we've watched two 3D movies on this unit - Brave and Nitro Circus. Both movies worked flawlessly. To me, the quality is the same as if we were at a theater...great experience so far!

No complaints whatsoever. I was looking for a reason to buy a 3D Blu-ray player and the price was right - paid $60 for this w/ free shipping. With $60, you get a very basic 3D Blu-Ray player that does the job. I was most impressed with how fast it was...

How can you complain when you know what you're getting? Again, this is a very basic unit...with only 4 apps, I believe. I have a "smart" TV, a Roku Box, an XBox, and a Wii. One way or another, I already had every app I could ever need. I have used both...

Price Performer, but no Hulu+ or Pandora

This little Blu-ray player is a price performer but it does not have Pandora or Hulu+. I was surprised because LG must have deliberately eliminated those options. Otherwise it works as expected but a very unimpressive list of streaming options.

Got all the newest bells and whistles, WiFi and 3D playback (with a 3D TV and glasses) 3D picture is very good.BUT...it will not remember the WiFi connections password or pin. So every single time to want to go online with WiFi you have to re-enter the...
