A good machine overall
Overall I am very pleased with the DVD player. It was an easy set up and the assistance given by LG is beyond approach. Only minor problem is that at times the machine disconnects and I have to unplug it and replug it for it to work.

BP550 freezes repeatedly
When selecting the icons at the bottom of the screen, or selecting the 'premium' icon I get the black screen with the red circle (meaning the unit is thinking) then ti goes back to where I started. It does this about 90% of the time.

So far this device has exceeded my expectations. I got it for wireless connection in the bedroom for Netflix, You-Tube, etc. Not only does it connect for those very well, but it also sees the shares on my home network and plays MKV and MP4 movies on...
Sometimes it will lose signal abruptly from network. But as is with all networks, a reset of the router will restore connection no problem
