LG BP350 review

The LG's nice to use and puts in a strong showing in the picture department, if only it sounded a bit better...

Bold, lush colours ; Pin-sharp outlines ; Decent upscaler ; Attractive design ; User-friendly interface

Sound lacks absolute precision and weight ; Small remote buttons

Strong picture and features, but needs better sound for a fifth star

LG BP350 review

Blu-ray players are so inexpensive now, and their image quality so similar, that you might be tempted to just buy the cheapest one and call it a day. But there are still advantages to shopping around and maybe paying a couple of bucks extra.

The LG BP350 is a budget Blu-ray player with image quality that's basically the same as more costly models. It offers the most popular streaming services including Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video.

The player is very slow at loading discs and streaming services. Lacks a number of connection options offered by competitors including Ethernet and coaxial digital audio.

The inexpensive LG BP350 is capable of fine image quality, but its sluggish load times keep it from earning our recommendation.

LG BP350 Blu-ray Player Review

The BP350 is almost worth buying as an internet media streamer, alone, with its under-one-roof coverage of the best video apps; the fact it plays...

Perfect Blu-ray playback ; Netflix, NOW TV & Amazon streaming under one roof ; Good price

Remote is cheap & tacky ; No 3D ; Only HDMI for audio

If 3D Blu-ray isn’t needed and you’re looking for a budget player that simply gets the job done, then there are worse ways of spending your £100, or so. The build quality isn’t anything to write home about; there’s only a single HDMI connection for...

LG BP350 Review

The LG BP350 is an affordable Blu-ray player that can also double as a streaming box. It may not be the fastest, but it gets the job done.

This affordable machine’s picture quality is on par with more expensive Blu-ray players.

Apps like Netflix are slow and take a long time to load.

The LG BP350 Blu-ray player is a budget-friendly option that can double as a streaming box. It has a few hiccups here and there loading apps, but it has impressive video quality.

Perfect match

Bought this DVD player to go with the LG television we recently bought from John Lewis. Looks neat and unobstrusive on TV table shelf. Small remote control very easy to understand. I love the subtitle feature you can apply on setting up as I am hard if...

Cheap and reasonably cheerful

The small size is good. It plays blu-ray discs and has BBC iPlayer but no other useful apps. Interface response is very slow. It only has wi-fi, no ethernet connection, which is fine if you have a strong, fast reliable wi-fi signal
