Sharp, light weight, well designed binoculars.

We were very pleased with our Fujinon 8x42 BFL binoculars but we didn't want to have to share them with each other. The Pentax binoculars are every bit as sharp, they focus on significantly closer objects, have a better design for letting you view...

Very sharp, Light weight, Easy to use with glasses, Excellent value for the price

Case is strictly for storage, fit is too tight to easily take in and out

My New Favorite!

I've owned numerous binoculars over the years by all makes and sizes from tiny compacts to huge 80mm astronomy binos. I recently purchased these Pentax 8x28 DCF binos because I found myself wanting a nice compact set for daytime use and sporting...

Excellent optics, compact design, light weight

The case is a joke - a bad joke

Overall very good, but check for faults

Good pair of bino's at a reasonable price. Eye releif is great for those who wear glasses.

View (what it's all about), eye releif

Suspect quality control, cheap case, no smaller when folded

Excellent Buy!

I would definitely recommend these binoculars. I had been searching for binoculars for general use purposes, with an emphasis on wildlife observation. Tried several, even bought the 8x42 Audubon Equinox. Had to return because of weight, and thick...

Light weight, great optics, and affordable

Have not found any yet

High Quality, Excellent Value

I ordered these binoculars after discussing my needs with Kate at Eagle Optics. I wanted high-quality compact or mid-size binoculars to use for travel and as a backup to my Nikon 8x42s for birding. She asked many intelligent questions, then suggested...

High quality at an attractive price. Excellent value for money

Flimsy case and strap; focusing a bit loose

Big bright image- surprisingly high quality.

Honestly, I've used lots of binoculars - Japanese, Austrian German, Russian and US optics, in environments as varied as the Arctic and Antarctica, Kalahari and Namib desserts, Amazon rainforests... you get the idea. I really like these binocs, and...

Practical, light, bright, accurate, easy to use, really brilliant optics. Top drawer

Cheap pouch, spaghetti strap. No big deal, get the aftermarket strap and bag you want

Astonishingly Good

I can think of no compact roof prism in their price range that can touch the DCF MPs for build quality, features and, most importantly, optical performance. They are astonishingly bright and clear; colors are sharp and contrast is excellent (not...

Value; brightness; clarity; compact size; waterproof

No camo option ;)
