Faulty

About as useful as a kitchen towel tube when it comes to seeing things. Has never, ever worked properly despite all efforts. waste of money.

Some Good, Some Bad

If you're looking for a strong beginner scope, this might be worth the $99, but if you're serious at all I would avoid this scope.

Scope & Mount made well - sturdy construction. Slow motion controls work well, gauges/dials are of high quality.

Flimsy tripod nearly ruins the whole telescope. Have to be careful not to knock it over even with correct counterweight balancing. Probably why they lowered the price from the $129 it used to be to $99. If I had to do it over I'd get a dobsidian type...
