This is a great optic, clear, no fog, holds up great. I would have no problem trusting my life on this optic, BUT I do have open sights for back up, you just never know what could happen on a hunt.

fabulous pair of glasses...took them to Alaska and use them nearly everyday since then. My son is in the Coast Guard and it's what they use on the bridge...to save lives. You get what you pay for with the binos...good to go!
