Users purely interested in capacity or speed need to take a look at the Western Digital My Passport (2TB) external hard drive—it has both in spades.

Enormous capacity. Speedy USB 3.0 transfer rates. Attractive compact chassis.

Not as future-proofed as some competitors. Connections limited to USB.

Western Digital My Passport 2TB

Western Digital's pint-sized My Passport external hard drive is a neatly designed unit that packs plenty of storage capacity - 2TB nominally, 1.81TB formatted as NTFS - into a case not much bigger than a mobile phone.
