Hitachi AXM136I

This is a neat and compact unit but with excellent sound reproduction and a lot of power to drive both the supplied speakers and my old and wonderful Mordaunt Short Pageants.

I cant connect my old vinyl turntable without using a pre-amplifier but that is a minor issue

all good.looks great,sounds great.......job done excellent product.

wish cd drawer wasnt a top loader,apart from that all else ok.

I love the fantastic sound quality and it looks good. The DAB radio has a really good reception. I also love the fact that the IPod station is separate. I really didn't like the ones with the hole in the middle to play the IPod.

Easy to use and to switch between outputs. Has good connections to auxiliaries. Sound is great for such small speakers and looks good and is small enough to store in a corner or under the tv stand. I pod dock is great.

Digital radio is poor - could be the aerial reception. also it would be good if you could have a facility to see what tune your i pod is playing on the micro itself. Connection between the two sections could be a bit longer to enable separation when a...

Gorgeous design and great sound quality for the price (it was discounted at time of purchase). Quite compact, but packs a lot in!

The DB radio can struggle a bit to pick up signal, but I think that's mainly due to the area where I live. I have fixed this issue now, but it did involve moving the unit to a different place.
