Though the highest 2 settings are NOT quiet at all (quite loud, actually), the lower ones are whisper soft and still move plenty of air. This is a great fan.

We are quite pleased with this product...no complaints....

This Vornado Fan is the Best. It is very quiet yet powerful when needed. Moves Hot Air out fast. It is also very attractive and so far has lived up to its great reputation of quality and function. We plan to get another.

I am very happy with the fan! I live in the caribbean for medical school and electricity is much more expensive than in America. This fan is like having a constant breeze in the room. I rarely even need AC with this thing. Not very loud and worth the...

wasnt all that powerful as thought, but considering its size, im impressed w wind it pushes. only time will tell if its sturdy and keeps the wind blowing.

Fan does a great jub circulating air around the entire room.
