Fairly cheap little cooler, works great, 3 speeds, swing mode, cooling mode

f you have to carry it. I hope it is not discontinued like I saw when I started to write this review. It would be a shame. It sells under three different brands so will check if there are any available, I don't care what brand label is stuck on it. I...

Great !

On the humid east coast, fans are a good backbone for a cooling system. Fans can struggle on hot, dry afternoons. These same conditions are ideal for evaporative coolers. I've added a Sunair for the study and bedroom. The cooler works well anytime the...

Value for money

Fantastic cooler ideal for smaller rooms, easy to use controls, with added bonuses of fan/ cooler, fan adjustment, 7.5 hour timer and remote control. 10L water capacity lasts for long time even on high fan setting. No need to keep refilling. Ice...

A Glorified Fan

Does not work in Brisbane. They do state under trouble shooting, that it will not work in humid conditions. I generally only look at trouble-shooting when I have have problems not before I switch them on. However, it would be practical if they...

Don't listen to negative reviews, this machine is a beast!

These people are crazy. I live in Sydney, in a room with no insulation. Always 30-40°C. I threw a in few blocks of ice, water from the fridge, boom. Cool. Not even very noisy. I have the cooler next to me on full blast, not noisy, cools without water too.

Fan

Bad experience with the seller. Saleman says it can cool average size room. It is a glorified fan. They want easy money. Owner said we should be careful before buying and don't return things if we change our mind. Fan is ok but not with 30 degrees or...

Great Cooler

Works great for the bedroom. Can even feel it from the other side of the room with it on low or medium. Only uses 70W of power so it's excellent compared to a refrigerated unit. Just pour a cap or so of disinfectant in with some water to avoid mold and...

Would not recommend

The fan stopped working after less than a month. The unit itself worked quite well if you use ice in the ice tray as well as water - but really, broken after less than a month is terrible.

Doesn't cool at all!

I also live the ACT. It is 35 degrees today with very low humidity. Our unit has now been going for three hours and the room temperature has not changed at all. It is simply blowing hot air.

Can't fault my Sunair water coolers

I have used my 2 sunairs for 8 years now, in the NT, Simpson Desert and Rotorua NZ (got it going now) totally different heats, ie NT up to 45 with some humidity and had to use the water out of the station dam which was full of red dirt, needed cleaning...
