I received a Soleus Air Lx-120 air conditioner as a gift in 2007. I wanted a portable upright I could move from room to room, as I'm not a big fan of air conditioning, and needed something I could move to different rooms on the occasionally rare hot...

Soleus LX-120 got me through one summer only
We bought this to get us through the heat waves here in Northern CA. It cooled the bedroom beautifully for about 2 months. Then started to rattle. It got really LOUD! It sounded like something was coming apart inside. We did not want to send it back...
It will work for about 2 or 3 months

Didn't cool even 1 room adequately. Broke after 1 year, displaying an E4 error message. Which means it was leaking refrigerant. It took weeks to actually get anybody to respond and then I got a lot of excuses about how the customer service person was ...
