this machine cools 3 rooms for me. too soon to report about money savings but i also bought the haier 6,000 (which i also love) but this norpole cools a large area.

Multiple settings,quiter than most, & ice cold air.Been in use for over a month now and love the remote! I will buy a 2nd one for my 2nd floor of house.
