Don't buy this product! It will give you nothing but headache! Mine broke down after 2 months. Had to replace the compressor here in phils. since my fiancé shipped this to Manila there's no way we can get use of the warranty. The aircon always display...

It'll cool a small room, but nowhere near the volume it claims. If the vent hose even has to go up to waist level, plan on insulating it because the heat from that hose just about cancels 25% of the cooling effort. Draining the water pan is...
It's bulky, difficult to move, poor cooling, difficult to drain
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I bought one while I was in WA in soaring temperatures. The Highlander did struggle at first with the heat [44 degrees] but I found if you put in the bedroom an hour before and make sure it is flat on the floor and that the hose is higher than the unit...

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
The exhaust slot broke ...too flimsy ..the horizontal luvres broke....i put it on a stand with a few dvd rec's and a tv on top,,, and screwed a hose and clamp on drainage hole so as it drains into a bucket by itself ...but i have to keep an eye on the...
Cheap enough
Poor design
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
It does cool an average sized room better than a fan but the other reviewers are correct: the drainage hole is poorly positioned, it is very noisy (I had to increase my TV volume from 9 to 14) and the hinge connecting the exhaust to the window kit is...
Inexpensive
Flimsy attachment broke on first day.

please do not buy this awful machine as it will just occupy large area but most in efficient functionility. Completely waste of money and time as you have to work very hard to maintain this and enjoy cooling.
Nothing to like about this product as completely waste of money
Much noise, less cooling, water tank full just within three hours. Very hard to empty the water tank as you have to lift the 40 kg aircon to drain the water.

If you are desperate for cooling due to high temps them you'll put up with anything. Would i buy it again knowing how loud it is? prob not. If you want a decent portable air con unit that is low on sound, then pay the extra money. If sound is not an...
Cooled smallish room adequately (12sqm)
Very very noisey!
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Well, it does cool. (somewhat). I have had this unit for a couple of weeks now. In search of better performance, I have elevated it and carefully sealed the exhaust duct to the machine and my room exhaust hole.. sadly with little improvement. Some...
Quite Cheap. Does cool (somewhat).
1. The cooling performance is meagre. Feeling the output stream from the square output hole, it appears only a small corner of it is actually cold, the majority of output being uncooled. This was confirmed with a IR laser thermometer. On a 27 degree...
