I bought this back when summer first started and my central air went out. It cools the living room, dining room, and dining room with no problem. Gets too cold sometimes.

A good buy, but, the a/c is a bit noised, compared with my old Fedders a/c, the one I replaced for this GE model. I owe two 8,000 BTU GE a/c units, and their are a lot noised than the new 14,450 BTU.
