It sucks. Hard.

I've never owned a dehumidifier before, so I don't have anything others to compare this to. I can, however, compare the air quality before and after I started using this. The humidity is significantly lower in our apartment. It was immediately...

None so far.

Runs great so far

I have had this running non stop for almost two years. I have it draining into a sump pump basin. Works for me!

Easy to set up, has wheels and an external drain tube capability which I use.

None that I have determined.

bob

If you have a place to drain, then you can leave it running as I do in my basement without much thought. Newegg is the best.

Works good. One and a half years, going strong. What a difference down in my old basement. I chose this unit after some careful consideration.

None besides that they all obviously cost you to buy and to run.

Excellent

I really like this unit. Super-quiet compared to the 10-year-old Kenmore dehumidifier it replaces (even when the ol' Kenmore was new, before it's fan started crapping out). What fan noise I do hear is more a 'whoosh', than a fan roar or buzz. This...

+ Highly effective + Surprisingly quiet + Modest footprint

- Kinda pricey - Catch tank is a bit small, compared to the capability of the unit - Catch tank is a very tight fit when replacing after draining - Top-venting fan exhaust might not work for everyone, restricts unit placement somewhat

Perfect

It is a nice looking unit. Well built and does a very fine job of taking humidity out of your rooms. I use it in the basement of about 2000 square feet and it has brought down the humidity from 65% to around 50% and that has taken the smell out from...

Non - I can think of.

Works well so far, relatively quiet and efficient

Overall pleased with this unit. Time will tell if it will hold up like the prior Frigidaire I had. The design is attractive and seems to work well. Worth it for the price.

- Runs fairly quiet (especially compared to the 20 year old one it replaced!) - rated at in the 500-600W range so for 50 pint/day, should use less electricity - It has the continuous drain with hose option, seems to have a fairly accurate humidity sensor

- The water bucket is relatively small compared to is maximum pints per day extraction capability so if you have a very wet basement and are not able to use the drain hose, that can be a pain I would think. - The bucket is actually a little bit awkward...

Excellent Product - 8-Month Review

Unit looks nice, and has wheels if you need to roll it around. One of the best household purchases made in the last several years. Really pleased with this product.

Totally happy with purchase. Been in constant use for about 8 months; connected to floor drain sump pump. Got it for newly dug, then unfinished - but nice - basement. As other reviewers have mentioned, unit is relatively quiet, pulls out a ton of...

Minor annoyance - Reset filter light periodically comes on to announce the filter needs cleaning - when it doesn't. Not at all worth even deducting one egg.

Great product!

Takes out a lot of water, and operates quietly and without putting out a ton of heat.

Bucket could be a bit larger, but I guess that's what the drain is for.

Ya, works good eh!

Free shipping, no state tax. what not to like? box a little banged up by UPs but well packed with styrofoam

Half the size of old one. Pulls water fine. Isn't heating up the basement. Quiet, can't hear it upstairs like old one. Set it (humidity) and forget it. Using hose to floor drain.

Had seen other reviews and videos on this product that were somewhat negative. Maybe they were bad units, cause mine rocks.

Nice dehumidifier

Quiet and working very well. My only suggestion is that perhaps they could make a dehumidifier where the screen could be cleaned without having to take the bucket out first. Also, not sure how energy efficient it is.
