This product is a piece of junk. Do not trust Delonghi product

I bought this one few years ago, It did work but not as simple and good as Delonghi said. First of all, it is not mobile. Mobile in the sense that you can install the product anywhere you like on condition that it is within inside your house after you...

Hopeless

After testing the unit for an hour to see if it would cool effectively , and it did , the umbilical hose ruptured and all the gas came out , Had that fixed and returned to us by winter so didn't use it till next summer then the same thing happens...

It actually did cool well .

The gas pipe can't handle any flexing.

Terrible

I do not want this expensive 'Good Looking Italian' in my house. It has not done a proper day's work in its life. I want a divorce. I want a settlement so that I can invest in an efficient Japanese or a hard-working German.

The heating function is good in winter, but that is not why I bought it.

It has broken down every summer since I bought it in 2008. By the time it is fixed or replaced (3 times) the heat is over and I am exhausted.

Excellent

This is my third portable and the best one of all. The noisy factor is unbeatable as the compressor is not on the same unit. It cools fast and the dehumidfying power of this unit is very impressive. The best investment I've done this summer. 5 starts...

Great features, fast cooling, dehumidfying power is very impressive and most important of all, VERY QUITE !

not as easy as it says to disconnect the hose. About it really.

Excellent

If you want satisfaction by purchasing a portable air cond, don't think twice abou it. Just ask any salesperson when going to the shops regarding noise DBA's. The strong points on this product are : extremely low noise, powerful dehumidfying product,...

Vrey good equipment ! IT's very quiet ! Not like the other portables that have the compressor attached to it ! You must realise this because the noise effect is very important. Four modes, very handy : fan, dehumidfying, cooling air cond and heating....

The release connection is not near easy as said....but with patience and being careful it can be achieved quite easily. No other cons....very good product.

OK

Great product let down by a misleading sales pitch. As much as I have found the product to perform in a fantastic manner, Customer service is always number one on my list, and due to the misleading sales pitch of this product I will not be buying...

The unit is fantastic, it's cooling and heating features are great, and its smart mode (where the unit decides the best fan speed and whether heating or cooling should be used to keep a comfortable temp) is fantastic, it's very quiet and for that I am...

Heres the nail in the coffin though. The 'outdoor' unit, cannot be subject to any weather condition, I find these type of instructions appauling, as its an outdoor unit. There is mention of a protective cover in the users manual which can't be found...

Excellent

Very nice portable air conditioner. I recently briefly owned a Mistral portable conditioner (see my other review about it) and this one blows it away by far! I paid $799 because it's a "run-out" model (ie. no longer being sold) but I don't care if it's...

Great at cooling! Whisper quiet too -- the split system means the noisy part goes outside, but even that isn't very loud. Has 3 fan speeds with each one being a little louder than the lower, but the lowest level is all I need and it's quite powerful....

If you have children: beware! The indoor unit's air vent faces up, which means it's open season for dropping small items into it (coins, etc). I actually went to Bunnings and paid 35c for a bit of fly screen to super-glue over the vent to prevent this....
