Used in a dorm room on painted cinderblock walls. Don't know how long it will stay attached.

I wanted to use it for hanging paintings at the town hall.....to avoid making holes in the walls. But the wt. was only 3 lbs. I have used this product at home to hold kitchen utensils and it is fine for that and doesn't ruin the wal.
