Call of Duty: Ghosts

How does it compare to Battlefield 4?

Spectacular scenes of mass-destruction ; Looks fantastic on PC ; Some good new multiplayer features

Single-player feels like Modern Warfare 4 ; Character customisation is confusing ; Extinction mode a disappointment

Call Of Duty Ghosts review

Call Of Duty Ghosts takes some necessary risks with Activision's gargantuan IP

Bond-esque set pieces ; Me an’ my bots ; Fragging aliens

Dumb dialogue ; Staring at the AI’s butt ; Deja vu

Call of Duty: Ghosts review

Is there life after Modern Warfare? We carry out reconnaissance on Call of Duty: Ghosts to find out

Larger, more interesting maps ; More customisation options ; The multiplayer action's still great

Squads and Extinction modes disappoint ; Too reliant on past glories

Call of Duty: Ghosts ticks all the usual boxes but can’t shift the feeling that we’ve seen it all before

Call of Duty: Ghosts review (Xbox One, PS4)

With an all-new cast of characters, the introduction of a caninesquad mate, all wrapped up in next-gen graphics, Call ofDuty: Ghosts offers up a fresh spread of meats on thefirst-person shooter dining table.

Great selection of multiplayer modes, new Squad mode multiplayerfun for newbies, single-player ridiculous but fun, there is a dognow

Single-player storyline is one of the most surreal of theseries, more female soldiers please

Call of Duty: Ghosts is what a lot of fans of the serieswill want: more of the same, but with slightly better graphics andsome twists, such as playing as a dog within a moderately moreinteresting storyline (although only just) than past titles. In...

Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox 360 Review

The box calls it the best-selling first-person action franchise, but this is an important new entry for the series as the next generation arrives. Does it make good use of current hardware, and how does it compare to the previous best sellers?

It would be too easy to end the review by saying that if you liked previous games in the series, you will like this one too. The truth is, while there may not be much in the way of innovation Ghosts does present a good overall package of single player...

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Games Xtreme gets the dogs out and goes hunting in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Ghosts is a good game, it's not an innovator but it'll sell a ton of copies on name alone. It's a worthy entry into the franchise. A bit long in the tooth though, so it doesn't garner the whizz-bang high score from us.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts Review

COD: Ghosts continues the tradition of a yearly Call of Duty game. With Infinity Ward making their first original title since the departures of previous [...]

"Call Of Duty: Ghosts" is a fine enough game in its own right, but when compared to Black Ops 2, I much prefer the ways in which Treyarch are taking the COD games. The story, whilst action-packed, lacks any real ambition, and seems like a step back....

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Within the first ten minutes of checking into the Call of Duty: Ghosts campaign, I sighed a heavy sigh. At that moment, I felt I knew – more or less – what the next five or so hours had to offer me. Was I proved wrong by the time the credits rolled?...
