Vive Pro review

The best VR headset around. Vive Pro review.

Comfortable fit ; High-resolution screen ; Built-in headphones ; No light bleed

Field of view could be better ; Set-up is still too involved ; Price and system requirements are high

The best VR headset around just took a significant step forward. If you were a fan of the Vive then you’ll appreciate the improvements made with the Vive Pro, but if VR isn’t for you then the Pro isn’t the headset that will change your mind.

HTC Vive Pro review: The best VR experience you can get

It’s still expensive and complicated to set up, but never has full virtual reality immersion looked so good

The best quality VR experience money can buy ; Great array of games and experiences to enjoy ; Comfortable and ergonomic headset

Incredibly expensive ; Powerful PC required to run ; Wireless VR comes at yet another cost

HTC Vive Pro review: The best VR experience, bar none... if you can afford one

The HTC Vive Pro includes a number of different design improvements that potentially make it a worthwhile upgrade for current HTC Vive owners. It's

Incredible visual improvements ; Excellent Hi-Res and spatial sound enhancements ; Comfortable fit and easy adjustment ; Single connection improvement

It's really expensive (as no controllers or base stations included) ; DisplayPort only connection ; Still not wireless ; 90Hz rather than 120Hz refresh rate

The HTC Vive Pro is undeniably the best virtual reality experience available today... if you can afford it.

HTC Vive Pro review

Hardcore VR fans are finally getting the high-end hardware they've been dreaming of

Certain games look stunning with Pro ; An incredibly more comfy and adjustable fit compared to the standard Vive ; Built-in headphones are much more convenient

Limited graphically-challenging game library ; Wireless adapter not included ; Overkill and too expensive for most people

This super-powered headset is overkill for VR newcomers, but if money is no issue, look no further for the ultimate virtual reality experience

HTC Vive Pro review: Augmented reality is coming to 2018's best VR headset

There are some great new features in HTC's latest VR headset. But is it worth that massive price tag?

Improved specs ; Exceptional comfort ; Simple Setup ; Best VR headset in 2018

Expensive ; High PC spec demands ; Not enough improvements

What’s more, it’s an incremental improvement rather than a game-changer, meaning our excitement is somewhat tempered by disappointment. Yet, as HTC might say, if you want to experience professional standard Virtual Reality (whatever ‘professional’...

HTC Vive Pro review: Evolution, not revolution

The HTC Vive Pro brings a suite of welcome improvements to VR, but it's not quite the revolution we were hoping

It may sound like I’m not entirely sold on the HTC Vive Pro but that isn’t the case. Sure, it’s a lot more expensive than headline price might suggest and it’s only an incremental upgrade over Vive VR, but it’s undeniably the best VR headset on the...

HTC Vive Pro Headset Review: A High Bar for Premium VR

Most comfortable HMD to date ; Excellent build quality ; Ready for next-generation tracking ; Best-in-class image quality

Headphones lack bass response ; Pricey ; Foam cushions not moisture-proof

The Vive Pro is the best consumer VR headset that money can buy today. HTC made advances in comfort and image quality that will carry forward into coming generations of VR hardware. The cost of entry is steep, but if you're serious about VR, it's worth...

HTC Vive Pro review: Better in every way, but it’s not for you

The Vive Pro has everything we wanted in HTC's original VR headset. But it's incredibly expensive, especially if you need to buy new accessories. At this point, it's clearly only meant for VR professionals.

Vastly improved ergonomics ; Higher resolution screens ; Built-in headphones

High price ; Accessories are another $299

Everyone else would be better off with the Vive, or just waiting until HTC announces a complete Vive Pro kit with new accessories later this year. Just don't expect that to be cheap either.
