Great results with right ArcSoft configuration

After much trial and error with input configuration,ArcSoft Showbiz software works great, but does not use record button on device.EZ Grabber software works but poor quality output.

Is It Me?

Loaded all the software that came with the unit and don't have a clue as to how it works. OS is Windows 7. No picture no sound. Not worth the price to me or maybe it's just me.

Don't bother

Biggest problem is the audio channel doesn't transfer - I gave up trying to make it work. The software is horrible - utterly unintuitive.

Great product

Two issues: 1. The video connector needed cleaning. Before that I got intermittent contact. 2. Found better software at Cyberlink Power Direct. Otherwise I recommend it.

Don't Buy This!

Manual is written as if English is a third or fourth language. Device records for 5-15 seconds and stops. It then has to be uninstalled before trying again. Same behavior on 2 Windows 7 computers. This is a totally worthless product, a complete waste...

A Good Capture Device

This device helped me to capture a wedding on a VHS tape that was 11 years old. If it can appease a person like me, it will definitely work for you. Oh and BTW the price is fantastic too.

This is a good device especially for those that may be worried about the whole video to sound sync issue. I actually ran side by side comparisons of this device with the honestech VHS to DVD 5.0 Deluxe. The honestech audio was just simply unacceptable...

The only issue is that I liked honestech VHS to DVD 5.0 capture software compared to what Diamond's EzGrabber. Just find honestech software and combine it with this device and you are set. This is the only reason this device didn't get 5 eggs

I can't figure out how to delete my previous review.

It does work with windows 7, it has a simple easy to use interface

The drivers available online did not work for me but the drivers that came with the cd did

Junk, at least on a 64-bit system

Don't buy this. I'm sure New Egg carries other products that ... well ... work, at the very least.

If I can get a refund, the fact that I can get a refund. Otherwise, I can't think of anything to recommend it

The instruction manual is a joke. Just a few pages, doesn't even mention all of the software included, contains inadequate information and half of the instructions are inaccurate ... don't even match the files/software on the CD or the device itself ;...

I was needing to convert my VHS tapes to DVDs. This does the trick. ez to use and also will allow you to hook in any RCA cable to your computer and use it like a TV! So movies and games. Down side. when recording cant see it. but i Hooked up a tv to it...
