Panasonic TX-P50GT30 review

The Panasonic TX-P50GT30 3D plasma is one of the brand's star attractions and it's significantly cheaper than the flagship TX-P50VT30 flagship, arguably, with a better picture

Stunning 2D hi-def images ; File-friendly media streaming ; Crosstalk free 3D performance

No 3D glasses in the box ; No integrated Wi-Fi ; Design lacks wow factor

Let’s not beat about the bush, the TX-P50GT30 is a fabulous plasma display. While we’d like to see greater design flair, the panel compensates with a high def image performance that shows 90 per cent of its rivals a clean pair of heals.

Panasonic's 2011 3D plasma debut is a straight A student

Panasonic TX-P42GT30B review

No feature has been left unturned by Panasonic's 3D-ready 42-inch plasma HD TV with Freesat HD and Freeview HD

Rich, detailed 2D picture quality ; Freeview HD and Freesat HD ; Clean, crosstalk-free 3D performance ; VIERA Connect IPTV portal

No active shutter 3D glasses supplied ; No side-mounted AV inputs ; No EPG for non-Freesat services

Panasonic TX-P50GT30B review

Breathtakingly accomplished 3D plasma with cloud-based apps capability

Outstanding build quality ; Brilliant 2D and 3D pictures ; Good online and multimedia capability

Minor colour bleed with 50Hz PAL ; 3D glasses knock out a lot of brightness ; Poorly designed eyewear

Panasonic TX-P46GT30

The P46GT30 is the mid-sized option from Panasonic's acclaimed GT30 range, and as such could actually be the most widely desirable of the lot.

Crosstalk-free 3D, Peerless contrast, Good value for what's on offer

Not the brightest pictures, especially with 3D, Judder with some sources

Recommended!

The P46GT30 is the mid-sized option from Panasonic's acclaimed GT30 range, and as such could actually be the most widely desirable of the lot.

Crosstalk-free 3D ; Peerless contrast ; Good value for what's on offer

Not the brightest pictures, especially with 3D ; Judder with some sources

While recent TVs from LG and Samsung in particular have reminded us that Panasonic could still do with injecting a little more brightness into its 3D pictures, overall the P46GT30 renews our belief that we as AV enthusiasts would rather watch 3D on a...

Panasonic Viera TX-P50GT30

Panasonic's first new 3D plasma TV of 2011 shows the rest how it should be done.

Outstanding picture quality, Good multimedia features, Superb build quality

Reduction in brightness with 3D, Image retention, Irritating 3D glasses design
