LG OLEDB6P series review

On April 20, 2017 I reviewed the 2017 successor to this television, the OLEDC7P series , and since then I've reviewed two more-expensive 2017 OLED TVs, the LG OLEDE7P and the Sony XBR-A1E .

With the exception of new 2017 OLED TVs, the LG B6 has the best video quality we've ever tested. It evinced perfect black levels, wide viewing angles, accurate color and a brighter picture than last year. It's compatible with both types of HDR TV shows...

It's still expensive.

LG's high-end 2016 OLED TVs deliver picture quality that's almost as good as the world-beating 2017 versions, and the B6 is currently a better value.

DON'T BUY IF USING ARC

I'd purchased new from Best Buy and I'm 2 days after the 30 day window so they refuse to take a look at it. LG service is completely useless. So basically I'm stuck and thought I should warn as many folks as possible about the issues with this TV. If...

Great TV Color and design, works well

Vignetting still a problem

I love how all these "pro" reviews gloss over the fact that LG's quality control is awful, and that the 2016 OLEDs still have vignetting problems (looks like black flames on the edge of the screen) just like the 2015 models. I tried two 65" panels, and...

Good picture quality most of the time

bad picture quality sometimes, vignetting, black crush

BEST EYE CANDY EVER!

Bought this TV at Best Buy for $3300 but with there price match I got refunded $300 a week later. I was looking for a 4K TV & was looking at the average TV, A 70" Vizio for $900 at Sam's Club, etc. After awhile I typed in what is the best TV to buy....

GREAT PICTURE

May have motion blur once in awhile

Best picture for the money

The television is a bit cumbersome to place on its stand due to its size. The television is extremely light weight for its size. Everything else is very straight forward and simple to set up.

Great pic, terrible customer experience & privacy

Bought this on the strength of CNET's review, and I agree the picture is incredible. But LG's customer support is abysmal. When I first tried to set it up, it wasn't getting any signal from the cable box. The user manual is a complete joke, so I called...

Great pic, but horrible documentation, support, and privacy

Bought this on the strength of the cnet editors' review, and I agree the picture is amazing, but the rest of my experience with LG has been abysmal.
