Good image quality, colour depth and contrast; especially after letting the TV run in for 100hrs at half settings. Overall style of TV is good and has a wow factor when people see it. Also that can plug in and external USB drive, so can watch movies...

The unit looks great, slim compaired to some, when playing a blueray film the picture is of a high standard and even DVD's the picture is very good, I had a Samsung Plasma TV which was a lot more expencive, the picture and motion was not as good as...

If you're looking for cutting-edge picture quality, the LG 50PS6000 probably isn't for you. But, if you want a huge, good-quality, sensibly priced 1080p TV, it might very well be the perfect choice

Great design ; Plenty of features ; Good picture quality

Black levels aren't the best ; Some pixel noise

The competition at this size is virtually non-existent. We're certain you won't get a better price than the one asked by LG for this screen. It's a competent machine and one that we think will put a smile on the face of anyone who buys it

Plays DiVX (not HD) ; Great sound quality

Image lacks sharpness ; Shiny screen coating is very reflective ; Ugly on/off button

This plasma screen gives a disappointing performance, especially because of a lack of sharpness. The fact that it can play DivXs and has a nice sound quality compensates somewhat however.

Cinema mode is generally the one we use. Wherever possible, we set the white levels at 200 cd/m².

All round performance for the price is hard to beat ..

This is not the best 50in flat panel TV we have come across but its all round performance for the price is simply unbeatable.
