Arctic F8, F9 and F12 TC Fan Review

Over the past months we've looked at numerous products from Arctic which have generally left us with positive feelings.  Even though they have diversified into different markets, they still have a plentiful range of cooling products, some of which we...

KitGuru says: These fans run quiet, shift a decent amount of air and represent great value for money.

Perfect, Cheap but suprising quality

Bought this to replace old noisy fan, takes but a minute to install and all that. And its whisper quiet once its running, All in all very pleased with the item and the usual 2-3 day delivery thing. Also in the box are 4 little screws for fixing and a...

Works for me

The daisy chaining style was apparently chosen to permit transparently adding the fan to a MOBO with a single CPU PWM fan connector (where that PWM connector is already being used for CPU fan). This is accomplished by (1) removing the existing CPU fan...

PWM, relatively quiet (better than original 70mm). Got two, both fans worked apparently identically well -- no quality issues. I replaced a pair of 70mm fans on heat sinks with these 80mm fans (required a little creativity but turned out well)....

I did not need the daisy chaining provisions so for there was a bit of extra wire. The fans are bit more gray than black than indicated by photo. Neither of these matter to me since the case exterior is opaque

Nice quiet PWM fans

After fixing up the wire header the fans look/perform amazing.

Very quiet, I have to stick my head within a foot of the case to even hear the things (I have 2 side by side)

I found the wiring to be both clumsy and overly engineered. its just a PWM header keep it simple. The Yellow RPM wire is separate from the other 3 wires and it is connected to a socket which then connects to your motherboard header. Too much extra...

Quiet!

Measure twice and order once.

This a very quiet reasonably priced fan. I am replacing a screaming meany. Sometime it is the small things that make the biggest difference. I plan to use this brand for all my new builds

NONE

What a Nice Fan

I put this to add as an exhaust to my Micro-ATX Cube (Corsair Air 240) because I have SLI'd 680s and they get warm. Works like a charm. SLI 680s + i7-5820k + Corsair H100i = 30C CPU idle, and both GPUs idle at ~50C, 70C at max load.

Moves a ton of air for such a small fan ; Very quiet, I was afraid and prepared for it to have too much noise, but was very pleasantly surprised

Surprisingly, none. The cord is a little long for my liking but i zip-tied most of it around the fan itself

Great fan, quiet, PWM!

The "PWM Sharing" concept is to daisy chain multiple fans if only one 4-pin connector is available- so it comes with 4-pin, 3-pin and adapter. If you're not "sharing," just plug the 4-pin directly to the mobo- and then connect the extra 3-pin to the...

Great price for PWM! Quiet at max rpm

Wiring the "PWM Sharing technology" is kinda funky and if you don't use it (as i think most won't) it just adds clutter. Not a huge con tho ; Also, would be nice if RPM maxed higher
