Arctic F8, F9 and F12 TC Fan Review

Over the past months we've looked at numerous products from Arctic which have generally left us with positive feelings.  Even though they have diversified into different markets, they still have a plentiful range of cooling products, some of which we...

KitGuru says: These fans run quiet, shift a decent amount of air and represent great value for money.

Perfect, Cheap but suprising quality

Bought this to replace old noisy fan, takes but a minute to install and all that. And its whisper quiet once its running, All in all very pleased with the item and the usual 2-3 day delivery thing. Also in the box are 4 little screws for fixing and a...

Great fan, quiet, PWM!

The "PWM Sharing" concept is to daisy chain multiple fans if only one 4-pin connector is available- so it comes with 4-pin, 3-pin and adapter. If you're not "sharing," just plug the 4-pin directly to the mobo- and then connect the extra 3-pin to the...

Great price for PWM! Quiet at max rpm

Wiring the "PWM Sharing technology" is kinda funky and if you don't use it (as i think most won't) it just adds clutter. Not a huge con tho ; Also, would be nice if RPM maxed higher

Quiet and inexpensive

Bought this as the primary exhaust for my HTPC build. This is a great fan that came with all of the accessories you could possibly need to power it. Runs quiet, moves a good bit of air. My only gripe is that it isn't reporting RPM to my BIOS or...

Quiet ; Came with adapters and cables for any hookup ; PWM (4 pin) fan ; Price

Doesn't report RPM to my BIOS

good fan

I bought this fan after enjoying the quiet 120mm of the same brand. The wire is long and very small gauge. Small could be a PRO because it's easy to flex and route... but could be a CON as it's small enough to be cut or damaged if you're rough with it.

quiet compared to others ; silent up to 50% speed, quiet up to 80 ; good quality ; long wire

almost loud at 100% speed ; sharp fans blade tips, drew blood when I stuck my finger in it :P

Good Silent Fan

Once connected, does the job, good airflow and silent

Fan is silent. Connectors allow for more than one fan to be chained

Connectors may be confusing, Documentation help for both confusing and understanding

Great Little Fan

The only thing that I am wondering about is how long this "fluid bearing" will hold up. I have had a number of fans last for up to a decade, so that's the baseline that I am hoping for.

This is a very good fan that moves a decent amount of air for its size and operates fairly quietly. It even came with some mounting screws. Simply mount it, plug it in, and forget it. A good buy for an 80mm case fan

None to report

Good fans

If you want to run this fan by itself, you can plug the 3-pin pigtail into the PWM passthrough connector. It's clunky, but it works. Otherwise, you could easily adjust the connectors to a single, 4-pin PWM connector by removing the pins from the...

They move a decent amount of air with a minimum of noise. PWM control works great

The "PWM Plus" cabling seems to be a bit of a gimmick. The point is to run this PWM fan in series with a PWM CPU fan so they spin up at the same time and rate, giving the CPU fan the speed control wire in the passthrough cable. The 3-pin pigtail would...
