Not obtrusive, adapts to work with the TV remote (i.e. Turns on with the TV and TV remote controls the sound base volume), sound is very good.

There is a system of LEDs on the front of the unit which are supposed to tell you what settings in play by lighting in various patterns, not clear at all.

Set up very easy Sound quality from TV via optical lead sounds a bit woolly but may be because the whole set up is built into a cabinet. Dolby sound from DVD source much better
